Our Facility

Bow-Wow Doggie Daycare is Pittsburgh’s first exclusive daycare facility for dogs. We have provided a safe and entertaining environment for dogs to play and socialize since January 2002. We are conveniently located minutes from downtown in the Strip District.

    Our facility offers the following amenities:
  • Approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor play space
  • Two different play rooms - Dogs are separated by size and temperament
  • Trained and acredited dog handlers to provide a safe and fun environment
  • Soothing music
  • Comfortable bedding
  • Small to Large kennels for each dog for our mid-day rest time
  • Fresh drinking water

Our Play Rooms

Small Dog Room

Small Dog Playroom

This room is dedicated to the smaller dogs. In this room, the dogs are not in a position to be intimidated by the larger dogs. They are the “big dogs” in this room. The dimensions of this room is approximately 12x30ft. This room accommodates up to 12 dogs.

Large Dog Room

Large Dog Playroom

This room is dedicated to the larger dog breeds. The Large Dog Room is the largest play area at Bow-Wow. The dimensions of this room is approximately 24x32 ft. There is ample room for the dogs to romp freely. We can accommodate up to 20 dogs in this room.

For the safety of our dog clients, there is always a dog handler in each room to oversee the dogs as they play. SAFETY IS ALWAYS BOW-WOW'S #1 PRIORITY!
